I love seeing what women carry in their purses so I thought I'd give you a glimpse into mine. I bought this bag from Herbergers on sale a few weeks ago, it was a complete steal at almost 50% off. I've been trying to keep what I carry in my bag to a minimum, I tend to carry way too much stuff that I never even end up needing. Since it is summer and 90F everyday I like to throw a water into my bag in the morning and drink it throughout the day, otherwise, I carry essential items only. 

Being a Waitress

I'm working at a dinner party tonight. It is super casual but I wanted to make sure I still looked cute.  Its over 100F out but the house will be chilly so I decided I needed to dress in layers.  The bright colors are perfect for sumer and so not to draw from the bright tops, I decided to go with jeans and nude flats.  

Freezing in 95 Degree Weather

It has been beyond hot for Minnesota summer this week. Yesterday it was 99F. So instead of wearing shorts and a tank top like a normal person, I chose long pants and a long sleeved shirt...and a hat. In my defense, I spent most of my day in Starbucks where the air-conditioning is on so high it feels like I'm sitting in a giant walk in freezer.

I've decided to switch things up a little bit and start wearing bootcut and flare jeans more often.  And what I love most about them is they make my short legs look long...er (do I look 5'3'' in these photos?? Because I sure feel like I gained 3inches!)

This shirt is actually too big for me, but tuck it in and no one can tell! Not to mention it gives the look a really sleek look.
