Outfit of the Day: Preppy

(denim shirt-Gap, Sweater-JCrew)

(Jeans-Levi's Outlet)

(Tory Burch-Nordstrom)

(Michael Kors-Nordstrom)
I feel like I should be at a mansion on the east coast with this outfit, maybe playing some croquet on the massive lawn, sipping iced tea, getting ready to hop on the family boat later.  Generally my style is a little preppy but I went overboard today with the button up, cardigan and flats. Not to mention my hair is half up with one of those big tortoise shell clips.  My best friend makes fun of me all the time for my obsession with yachts, I tell her that someday I'm going to own a yacht with my perfect husband and two children (one boy and one girl of course).  First I should probably work on graduating and finding a job.  But a girl can dream right?

I decided to show you a nail of the day too.  I'm loving this color. It's "bobbing for baubles" by Essie. I was always loyal to OPI until the Walgreens near me started selling Essie and I decided to give it a shot. I fell in love.  This color is a dark blue grey, a perfect winter color.  As you can see its already chipped a little but I cleaned the bathroom yesterday and haven't had time to fix them.  But I must say that for scrubbing a toilet and bathtub the polish has help up very well.

Outfits of the Days

 (Shirt-Gap, Vest-Relativity via Boston Store)

(Levi Jeans)

(Ralph Lauren flats via Macy's)

(Michael Kors watch, Banana Republic bracelet)

This is what I wore to class last Thursday, I have retail management so I always feel like I have to look fashionable.  It was perfectly comfy and warm, for some reason the business school is always freezing. Not to mentions it's in the 20s here, but I haven't been able to bring myself to break out the big parka yet...maybe when it gets into the teens.

(Gap sweater)

(Gap Jeans)

(Ralph Lauren Flats via Macy's)

(Michael Kors watch, Banana Republic bracelet)

As you can see I'm loving this watch and bracelet combo, I've worn it everyday for the past week now.

I love the super flared jean trend and was so excited when I found these at Gap in an ankle length, only problem is they attract every piece or fuzz, fur, lint and so on in sight.  I swear my lint roller has never seen so much action.

I'm still holding onto my flats, it hasn't snowed yet so I'm going to keep wearing them, to be honest I'll problem still wear them in 16 inches of snow.
